terms and conditions

By submitting an application, the applicant agrees on the Terms and Conditions.

The clim@ competition is an initiative of the Green for Growth Fund (GGF). The GGF is the first specialized fund to advance energy efficiency (EE) and renewable energy (RE) in Southeast Europe, including Turkey, as well as in the nearby European Eastern Neighbourhood region and in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). Initiated by the European Investment Bank and KfW Development Bank, GGF is an innovative public-private partnership established to reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions. GGF provides refinancing to financial institutions to enhance their participation in the EE and RE sectors and makes direct investments in non-financial institutions with projects in these areas. GGF’s investments seek to achieve a minimum of 20% reduction in primary energy consumption and/or a 20% reduction in CO2 emissions. With GGF funding, partner institutions (PIs) are financing various EE and RE measures.

The Technical Assistance Facility (TAF) of the GGF provides targeted technical assistance to support investments in energy efficiency and the expansion of renewable energy delivery in parallel with the Fund to ensure the long-term effectiveness of investments.

In support of the Fund’s aim to expand innovation and outreach in the GGF Target Partners the GGF TAF is organizing the clim@ competition.
